A NOTE ON STYLE: In all the years I owned this dress in my personal collection, I had never noticed there was originally a back slit in the design! It's a straight slit, unlined the one in front, and measures 12.5" high. The previous owner nicely hand-stitched it closed, so it can be worn as it is photographed or easily taken out with a seam ripper or scissors for a double-slit style!
