A NOTE ON THE DESIGNER: Marjorie Michael started her business in 1948, and her designs were considered on par with those of high-end designers Peggy Hunt and Dorothy O'Hara. She only used natural fibers such as silk and cotton (mostly imported from France and Italy), as she believed synthetic fabrics were not the high quality she wanted to maintain for garments bearing her label.

Very good vintage condition. Ready to wear! One super tiny pinhole on front of waistband about a half inch from the right side seam; not seen when worn. One very minor vertical thread pull on back of skirt at the hem, located an inch to the left of the center seam; not seen when worn. In absolutely impeccable shape otherwise!
